The Owen Family Funeral Home opened the doors of the brand new facility were opened in November 2005, by lifetime area residents, Richard & Kimberly Owen, of Syracuse, IN.

Richard have served the grieving in Kosciusko County for more than 35 years, providing unparalleled comfort during life’s difficult moments.

During his entire career in the funeral profession, Richard's desire has been to serve and minister to the people in the community where he and Kimberly grew up. Over the years people have expressed their support and enthusiasm for Richard to continue his involvement with area families by owning and operating their own funeral home business. That desire and dream became reality in 2005.

In 2022, Owen Family Funeral Home merged with Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Cory and his staff have been working hand-in-hand with Richard and Kimberly Owen to ensure a smooth transition for their funeral families. You will still see the same caring staff serving the Wawasee community, as they have for many years.

Both the Titus and Owen Family Funeral Homes have like-minded ideals in their expectations of high-level funeral care in our community. As such, we are honored to serve more families in our communities and continue the Owen family’s legacy through Titus Funeral Home who have served the community for many generations.

The entire staff are friends and neighbors who help provide service, compassion, and care to our local community 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, to one family at a time.
