Adelaide V. Disher

Adelaide V. Disher, 102, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 5:02 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at her home. She was born on March 25, 1915 in Kendallville, IN to Fred E. & Florence S. (Wagner) Spencer.
She grew up in Goshen, graduated in 1934 from Goshen High School, and moved to Syracuse in 1948. She was married in December 1951 to W. Lloyd Disher who preceded her in July 1986. She retired as a secretary for Robert Reed Attorney at Law after many years. She was formerly employed with Steve Hearn Attorney at Law & Penn Controls in Goshen.
She is survived by:
3 Daughters – Kay Trenshaw of Goshen, Pat (Steve) Haines of Warsaw, and Sue Bailey of Warsaw
8 Grand, 1 Step Grandson, and 18 Gt. Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, great grandson – Matthew Collier, brother – Hugh “Bud” Spencer, step daughter – Marcia Shipcott, and step grandson – Clifford Shipcott Jr.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Private family graveside services will take place at the Syracuse Cemetery. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of all arrangements.
