Alfred M. Crook, 75, of Cromwell, IN passed away at 10:46 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2015 as the result of an automobile accident near Ligonier, IN. He was born on January 27, 1940 in Nashville, TN to Henry Alfred & Mary Emeline (Kenneth) Crook.
He grew in in Tennessee and attended public school there. He was married on June 20, 1976 in Attleboro, MA to Mary E. Coplin who survives. He was a former self employed painter / construction worker and moved to the Cromwell area 5 years ago from Nashville.

2 Sons – Brian Poliquin of Warsaw & Henry (Alexis) Coplin of Cromwell
16 Grand & 5 Gt. Grandchildren
Sister – Laura Margaret Reposa of East Providence, RI
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Mary Ann Elizabeth Anderson, 2 brothers – Nelson & Ronnie Crook & step father – Thomas Miller.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Harlan Steffen of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Burial will be in the Syracuse Cemetery.
Memorial bequest may be given to Alfred Crook Funeral Fund, c/o Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN 46567. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
