Alice L. "Louise" Huber

Alice L. “Louise” Huber, 89, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 10:20 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Lakeland Rehab and Healthcare in Milford, IN. She was born on October 1, 1922 in Syracuse to Allen F. & Dorothy (Searfoss) Ritter.
She was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and graduated in 1940 from Syracuse High School. She was married on February 6, 1942 in Bryan, OH to Edwin D. Huber who preceded her in 1992. She was a homemaker and did work in her home for Chore Time Brock of Milford for several years.
She is survived by:
2 Daughters – Sandra Bartels of Syracuse & Cinda Clayton of Milford, IN
Son – Lamar “Butch” Huber of Syracuse
11 Grand, 21 Gt. Grand, & several Gt. Gt. Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Gt. grandson, 2 brothers- Russell & Fredrick Ritter.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with DeWayne Barker officiating. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.
