Alice S. Twait

Alice S. Twait, 74, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2012 at I.U. Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN.  She was born on May 13, 1938 in Lansing, IL to Frank & Verbena (Groenveld) Oostra.

She grew up in Lansing and attended Lansing High School. She moved to the Syracuse area in 1967 from Lansing and spent the past 4 years in Bonita Springs, FL.

She was a homemaker and member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Syracuse.

She is survived by:
Daughter – Lisa Goon of Leesburg
Son – Jim Twait of Syracuse
4 Grand & 3 Gt. Grandchildren
Lifetime companion – Ron Rosser of Syracuse
Sister – Fran Baker of Crown Point, IN
2 Brothers – Pete (wife, Elaine) Oostra of Munster, IN & Robert (wife, Kathy) Oostra of Kalistell, MT

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December, 31, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor David Herr of the church officiating. Burial will follow at the Mock Cemetery in North Webster.
