Allen David "Buster" Zehner

Allen David “Buster” Zehner, 65, of Pierceton, IN passed away at 9:05 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2015 in North Webster, IN. He was born on September 2, 1949 in Warsaw, IN to Hubert Allen & Olga Lillian “Lill” Winkelman Zehner.

He graduated in 1968 from Warsaw High School and was a United States Navy Veteran. He lived most of his life in the Warsaw / Pierceton area except his years he was away for military duty. He retired from Military Sea Lift Command after 29 years of service.

He was a member of the Morris Chapel United Methodist Church in Pierceton and enjoyed traveling, dancing, and playing BINGO with his mother.

He was preceded in death by his father - Hubert Zehner & step father – William Airhart.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon on Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. Holly White of the church officiating. Military graveside rites and burial will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the Tippecanoe Memorial Gardens, 1718 W 350 N, West Lafayette, IN.
