Alley W. Dile, 85, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015 at 8:45 AM in Pierceton, Indiana home while surrounded by her children.
Alley was born October 27, 1929 in Springfield, Kentucky to Thomas Jefferson and Flossie Mae (Harden) Coulter. She was a graduate of Mackville High School, Mackville, Kentucky.
She and Leslie J. Dile were married July 6, 1946. He would precede her in death on June 18, 2005.
Alley worked in production for Whitley Products (Pierceton) and then later retired from Lyle Electric (Larwill, Indiana).
She attended Dutchtown Brethren Church.
Survivors include her son, Tony Dile, Pierceton; 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law: Peggy and Dan Jones-LaTurner of Auburn, Indiana; Vickie Krom, Pierceton; and Joanie and Bruce Foreman of Pierceton; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 10 great, great grandchildren; 1 brother: Doris Coulter of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Alley was preceded in death by 5 sisters: Mattie Bell Settles, Effie Goode, Ruby Willis, Edith Gowins and Lucille Dean; and 3 brothers: Arvel Coulter, Carl Coulter and J.R. Coulter.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing memories in support of one another Monday, July 27th from 3-7 PM at TITUS FUNERAL HOME, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. A service celebrating the life of Alley W. Dile will take place Tuesday, July 28th at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Pastor Glen Frances, a friend of the family, will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
