Andrew M. "Andy" Miller

Andrew M. "Andy" Miller, 64, of Elkhart, IN (formerly of Syracuse, IN) passed away at 6:05 p.m. on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Miller's Merry Manor in Warsaw, IN. He was born on May 24, 1957 in Orange, TX to Gerald Melvin & Virginia Louise (Bruner) Miller Jr.

He graduated in 1976 from W.W. Samuel High School in Dallas, TX and attended Eastfield Junior College. He was married on December 22, 1987 in Dallas, TX to Peggy A. (Clay) Briggs who preceded him on April 6, 2019. He was formerly employed as a Border Patrol Officer, Security Enforcement Officer, Military Security Officer all in Texas, Millennium Industries in Syracuse, and Par Mar Security in Goshen. He grew up in Texas and moved to the Syracuse area in 1992 from Dallas.

He formerly attended Calvary United Methodist Church in Syracuse and was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Syracuse.

He is survived by:

Daughter – Amanda (Ricky) Rollins of Warsaw

Son – Louis Miller of Albuquerque, NM

Step Daughter – Misty Briggs of Elkhart

6 Grand & 1 Gt. Granddaughter

2 Brothers - Gerald Miller of Texas & John Miller of Florida

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Stan Owen officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. Burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.
