Anna Linn, a longtime resident of Warsaw, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020 just after 11 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw. Nearing her 100th birthday, she was 99 years old.
Anna was born on August 17, 1920 in Mishawaka. She was the daughter of Edmond Dosmann and Rosella (Sellers) Dosmann and attended Mishawaka High School. She would eventually make her home in Warsaw after marrying Clyde Linn on September 14, 1939. She would share nearly fifty years with Clyde before his 1986 passing.
Anna was a kind, caring person and a hardworker. She was a longtime member of the Thrifty-Fifty Home Ec. Club, was very active with the Kosciusko County Election Board and was a longtime attendee of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church where she was also very active with church events. Anna was a skilled seamstress who enjoyed sewing, crochet and embroidery Most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family, especially holidays and family meals.
Those who survive with memories to cherish include her daughter, Mary (husband, Ron) Gates of Warsaw and grandson, Kevin (wife, Regina) Gates of Warsaw. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Clyde Linn, Anna was preceded in passing by her parents and her brother, Fritz Dosmann.
Friends may join family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw from 10 to 11 a.m. Beginning at 11 o’clock, family friend, Pastor Bryan Koorey will officiate Anna’s funeral ceremony. Burial will follow in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery where Anna will be laid to rest with Clyde.
