Anna J. “Jean” Watkins, 61, of North Webster, IN passed away at 8:10 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at her home. She was born on May 14, 1955 in Warsaw, IN to Lawrence & Bobbie (Calhoun) Elkins.
She attended Warsaw High School and was a lifetime Warsaw, Winona Lake, and North Webster area resident. On May 29, 1996 in Warsaw, IN she married Willard “Jr.” Watkins who survives. She was employed at DePuy for 38 years in the Shipping Department.
She was a member of the Cornerstone Church in Mentone, IN.
She is survived by:
Husband – Jr. Watkins of North Webster
2 Daughters – Gretchen Gatke of Chicago, IL & Carrie (Jerry) Watkins-Canada of Lafayette
3 Sons – Shawn (Fiancé- Amber Dafforn) Gatke of Fort Wayne, Christopher (Christine) Watkins of Bright, IN, and Douglas Watkins of North Webster
7 Grandchildren
Mother – Bobbie Elkins of Winona Lake
2 Brothers – Larry (Leigh) Elkins of Warsaw & Dodge “Rich” (Kim) Elkins of Warsaw
She was preceded in death by her father.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N St Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St Rd 13 & 500N, North Webster, IN with Pastor Rod Utter of the church officiating.
