Ann Kathryn "Annie" Whetten

Ann Kathryn "Annie" Whetten, 72, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 12:58 a.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Goshen Hospital. She was born on December 1, 1948 in Goshen, IN to Harold & Agnes Lovella (Fisher) Joint.

She graduated from Millersburg High School and lived most of her life in Millersburg / Syracuse area. She was married on February 12, 1984 in Las Vegas, NV to Jerry D. Whetten who survives. She retired from Northern Indiana Public Service Company after 20 years and formerly worked at Margie’s Lounge in Millersburg for many years. She was raised in the Lutheran faith.

She is survived by:

Husband – Jerry Whetten of Syracuse of Syracuse

Step Daughter – Shari (Doug) Whetten-Ringler of Syracuse

2 Step Sons – Doug Whetten and Troy Whetten both of Cromwell

4 Step Grand & 6 Step Gt. Grandchildren

Brother – Tom Joint of Goshen

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 in the Greenwood Cemetery, CR 29, Syracuse, IN with Pastor Harlan Steffen officiating.
