Arnold Eugene Bell, 78, of Rochester, IN passed away at 8:59 a.m. on Friday April 21, 2017 at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on May 7, 1938 in Rochester, IN to John Arnold & Emlene Bernadean (Zartman) Bell.
He lived most of his life in the Rochester area, attended Morton Memorial School in Knightstown, IN, and was a United States Navy veteran. He was a truck driver most of his life with various trucking companies.
Member of the Eagles Lodge #852 in Rochester, AMVETS # 32 life member, and former member of the Disabled American Veterans # 28. He was an Indiana Soldiers’ and Sailors Children Home Alumni.
He was survived by:
2 Daughters – Jeanie (Greg) Brooke of Mentone and Robin (Charles) Zoubul of Peru
Step Daughter – Linda Freels of Peru
6 Grandchildren –Hope Brooke of Claypool, Bradley Strasser, Jordyn Zoubul, Gabryelle Zoubul, Emmalee Zoubul, and Nathaneil Zoubul all of Peru
2 Gt. Grandchildren
Sister – Wonita Joan Hart of Logansport
Companion – Carolyn Varab of Rochester
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter – Cheryl Lee Bell, sister – Joyce Bell, and brother – Stephen Bell.
Arrangements are pending at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN.
