Arthur Van “Art” Phagan, 66, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 3:30 in his Columbia City, Indiana home.
Arthur was born April 17, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of Arthur and Caroline (Cowen) Phagan.
Art was an inspector for the Cook County (Illinois) Health Department.
He loved music – especially contemporary Christian and slow jazz. He enjoyed watching historical movies.
Arthur is survived by his companion: Julane M. Baggett along with several nieces and nephews. His parents preceded his passing.
Art’s life will be celebrated at a service to take place Saturday, October 31st at 11 AM in Titus Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Locke of The Salvation Army will officiate. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice or simple acts of kindness may be done for others in Arthur’s memory.
