Barbara Joan Fraley, age 80 and a resident of Warsaw, was called Home on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 8:05 a.m. from Lakeland Healthcare Center in Milford.
She was born on March 1, 1938 in Cape Girardeau, MO to Paul and Geraldine (Summerlin) Koch. One of two children, Barbara moved with her family to Indiana in the 1940s. She was a 1956 graduate of Leesburg High School.
Barbara worked in customer service for NIPSCO in Warsaw for nearly 40 years. She was a very active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Warsaw and was devoted to her church family. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting and embroidery, often giving her creations as gifts. She loved dogs, especially poodles, and loved her grandchildren deeply.
Those who survive include her son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Tina Fraley of Milford; two grandchildren, Nathan and Taylor Fraley of Milford; sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Jack Simpson of Florida; and nephew, Paul and wife, Trisha Simpson of Texas.
Visitation will be held at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street in Warsaw, on Thursday, December 6th from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral which celebrates Barbara’s life will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 a.m. with gathering for one-hour prior. The funeral will be officiated by Rev. Michael Barnes of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery following the service.
