Barbara B. "Barb" Kieper

Barbara B. “Barb” Kieper, 86, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 7:50 p.m. on Monday, January 10, 2022 at her home. She was born on March 25, 1935 in Pennsylvania to Marvell & Margaret (Knapp) Scheldorf.

She graduated from Blue Island High School in Blue Island, IL and was married on June 20, 1953 in Tinley Park, IL to Ralph E. Kieper who survives. She retired from Gallagher Asphalt in Thornton, IL in the payroll dept. She grew up in New York and lived in Orland Park, IL for many years before moving to Warsaw 30 years ago.

She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Columbia City and formerly attended the Lutheran Church in Tinley Park, IL.

She is survived by:

Husband – Ralph Kieper of Warsaw

Daughter – Katherine Kieper of Silver Lake

Son – Ricky Kieper of Valparaiso

2 Grandchildren – Kelly Miller & Torey Kieper

2 Gt. Grandchildren – Bailey & London Miller

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home with David Easterday officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN.
