Barbara M. Conaway

Barbara M. “Barb” Conaway, 62, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at her home. She was born on May 12, 1959 in Saginaw, MI to Wayne D. & Bertha J. (Schenk) Creason.

She graduated in 1977 from Caro High School and was married on December 24, 1984 in Caro, MI to Steven J. “Steve” Conaway Sr. who preceded her on June 15, 2020. She formerly worked at GM in Kokomo, Viking Foods in Akron, and Holiday Inn in Warsaw. She grew up in Michigan and lived in Kokomo before moving to the Warsaw area.

She is survived by:

Daughter – Julie Sanders of Warsaw

Son – Steven (Amanda Bennett) Conaway Jr. of Mentone

6 Grandchildren

2 Sisters – Roxanne & Anna

2 Brothers – Larry & Randy

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter – Jeanelle Poe, sister – Dianna, and brother – Wayne.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. No public services will be held. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.

Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
