Beatrice Tutorow-Davis
Beatrice N. Tutorow-Davis, 94, passed away Sunday September 29, 2013 at 3:30 PM in Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, Indiana.
Beatrice was born January 22, 1919 in Terre Haute, Indiana to George W. and Malinda (Davis) Nidiffer. She was a 1936 graduate of Central High School in South Bend, Indiana.
On July 21, 1936 Beatrice and James Tutorow were joined in marriage in Jonesboro, Indiana. She was a packer for Foster Forbes Glass Co. in Marion, Indiana for 28 years retiring in 1984. She moved to Warsaw, Indiana in 2001.
Beatrice enjoyed watching birds. She liked to exercise and loved to read. She also loved country music and especially enjoyed Marty Robbins. She loved her family (especially the grandchildren) and was a wonderful caregiver for all of the family when needed. She loved life in general but above all she loved Jesus.
Left with memories to treasure is her 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Ronald and Jacquelyn Tutorow of Warsaw and James A. and Marilyn Tutorow of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; daughter and son-in-law: Rebecca S. and Ted Gaines of Greenfield, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 4 great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James Tutorow (January 16, 1989); 5 brothers: Charles Nidiffer, George Nidiffer, Paul Nidiffer, Ora Nidiffer and Thomas Nidiffer; and 3 sisters: Ola Smith, Juanita Cobb and Mary Nelson.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing in support of each other Wednesday, October 2nd from 10-11 AM at Titus Funeral Home. A service celebrating the life of Beatrice N. Tutorow-Davis will follow beginning at 11 AM in the funeral home. A graveside service will be held in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion at 1 PM.
