Beckyjo “Becky” Hewitt, 75, of Warsaw, IN (formerly of North Webster, IN) passed away at 1:39 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Paddock Springs Healthcare in Warsaw, IN. She was born on July 28, 1946 in Syracuse, IN to Arnold & Marjorie Maxine (Cory) Hall.
She attended Syracuse Public Schools and was a lifetime Syracuse / North Webster area resident. She was married on April 22, 1966 in Syracuse, IN to Frederick A. “Fred” Hewitt Sr. who preceded her on December 9, 2020. She was formerly employed at the Frog Tavern for over 25 years, Amish Acres in Nappanee, Heaters in North Webster, and Syracuse Enterprises.
She formerly attended Zion Church in Syracuse.
She is survived by:
Daughter – Brandi Leigh (Michael) Bailey of North Webster
Son – Frederick (Maureen) Hewitt Jr. of Cromwell
9 Grand & 9 Gt. Grandchildren
3 Sisters – Bitsie Ann (Jim) Murphy of Fremont, Martha Ellen Atkins of Mishawaka, and Mary Burns of Etna Green
2 Brothers – Harvey Monroe (Deb) Hall & Arnold Vern “Pete” Hall both of North Webster
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter – Marcie Hewitt, son – William Monroe Hewitt, 2 sisters – Frances Jean Hamman & Margaret Elizabeth Rockenbaugh, and 3 infant brothers & sisters.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN.
