Bernie Crittendon, 64, of North Webster, IN passed away at 3:48 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on May 6, 1952 in Virgie, KY to James & Rendy Ellen (Richardson) Crittendon.
He attended Weeksbury Public Schools in Kentucky and moved to the North Webster area 48 years ago from Wheelwright, KY. He was married on May 7, 1970 in Warsaw, IN to Patricia L. “Pat” Maynard who survives. He retired from Syracuse Rubber Company after 33 years and was the former owner / operator of Triple T Discount Outlet in North Webster for 16 years.

Son – Rodney (Melissa Pettyjohn) Crittendon of Sturgis, MI
3 Grandchildren – Tavis Ray Crittendon, Tyler James Crittendon, and Taysha (Jordan) Cassatt
Gt. Grandson – Xander Christopher Crittendon
Sister – Annette Baker of Tracy City, TN
3 Brothers – Harry Blake Crittendon of Tracy City, TN, Dennis (Debra Lane) Crittendon, and William Michael (Connie) Crittendon both of Huntington, IN
He was preceded by his parents, 2 sisters – Billie Sue Romine & Naomi Rose LaFever, 3 brothers – Rodney Jack, Sam, & James Daniel Crittendon.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Stan Owen from the Syracuse Church of God officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN.
