Bertha L. "Bert" Reish

Bertha L. “Bert” Reish, 85, of Milford, IN passed away at 7:41 a.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at her home. She was born on February 21, 1936 in New Castle, IN to Laurence B. & Esther M. (Manges) Rager.

She graduated from New Castle High School and received her R.N. degree from Miami Valley Hospital. She was married to Edward L. “Ed” Reish who preceded her on September 14, 1994. She worked as a nurse in many capacities and was loved and appreciated by all of her coworkers and patients. She dedicated her life to serving others through her profession and family. She grew up in New Castle, lived in Union City for many years before moving to Milford 20 years ago.

She attended the Milford United Methodist Church.

She is survived by:

2 Sons – Tom Reish & Ray (Donna) Reish

8 Grandchildren, several Gt. Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son – Steve Reish, and sister – Phyllis Apple.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. No public services will be held.

Preferred memorials may be given to the One Heart Disability Ministry in Fort Wayne, IN.
