Beth Ann Mayhew

Beth Ann Mayhew, 69, of Syracuse, IN passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 at her home. She was born on September 14, 1944 in La Porte, IN to Guy Virgil & Thelma Inez (Crum) Anglemyer.

She was a lifetime Walkerton / Syracuse area resident and attended Lakeville High School. She was married on October 7, 1994 to Lyle R. Mayhew who survives. She formerly worked at the Citco Convenience Store in North Webster as a manager for several years, Frog Tavern in Syracuse & Syracuse Café.

She is survived by:
Husband – Lyle Mayhew of Syracuse
Daughter – Tina (Steve) Phipps of Warsaw
Son – Tracy (Renee) Minnix of Syracuse
10 Grand & 5 Gt. Grandchildren
Step Sons – Rob Mayhew & Mark Mayhew both of Syracuse
Sister - Linda Jensen of Apache Junction, AZ

She was preceded in death by her parents, son – Troy Minnix, infant daughter – Carol Minnix, & 2 brothers – Del  & David Anglemyer.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Memorial services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Harlan Steffen of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.

Memorial bequest may be given to New Hope Pet Rescue, 9326 N. 500E, Syracuse, IN 46567. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
