Betty Rose Coughlin 90, of Albion, IN passed away at 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at North Ridge Village Nursing home in Albion.  She was born on August 10, 1924, in Etna, IN, to Cletus C. and Thelma E. (Wheeler) Stump.

She lived most of her life in Whitley, Noble, and Kosciusko Counties, attended Washington Center School in Cromwell and Wolf Lake High School.  She was married in 1941 to Marvin Earl Kuhn who preceded her in death and in 1970 she married James Coughlin who preceded her in July 1985.  She retired in 1984 from Superior Sample in Ligonier after 11 years of service and formerly worked at Plax (Monsanto) in Ligonier.

She formerly Attended Trinity Assembly of God in Ligonier.

She is survived by:

2 Daughters- Marvena Kay (David) Blanchard of Maumee, OH & Angela Fay Deck of Garrett

2 Sons- Eddie L. (Sandra) Kuhn of North Webster & Danny D. (Dorene) Kuhn of Cromwell

16 Grand, Several Gt.  & Gt. Gt. Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Son- Larry S. “Buck” Kuhn & 2 Brothers- John & Bill Stump.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2015 at the funeral home with Mike McDonald of the Church of Christ in Millersburg, IN officiating. Burial will follow in Thorn Cemetery near Kimmell.

Memorial bequests may be given to Parkview Home Health & Hospice, 1836 Ida Red Rd, Kendallville, IN 46755.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
