Beverly Ann "Bev" Metz

Beverly Ann “Bev” Metz, 77, of Wabash, IN (formerly of Leesburg, IN) passed away at 3:40 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Autumn Ridge Rehab Centre in Wabash, IN. She was born on June 28, 1944 in Warsaw, IN to David C. & Mary Maxine (Busz) Sleighter.

She was a lifetime Kosciusko County area resident and graduated in 1962 from Pierceton High School. She was married on June 14, 1963 in Pierceton, IN to Douglas G. “Doug” Metz Jr. who survives. She was a homemaker and formerly worked in various factories before retiring from Biomet in 2004 after 10 years.

She formerly attended the Grace Brethren Church, Warsaw Community Church, and New Life Christian Church.

She is survived by:

Husband – Doug Metz Jr. of Leesburg

2 Sons – Timothy (Faith) Metz of Cromwell & Todd Metz of Leesburg

Grandson – Justin Metz

Sister – Diane (Bob) Ritchie of Kimmell, IN

Step Sister – Karen (Chuck) Levitz of Columbia City, IN

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother- David Sleighter

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. No public services are planned. Burial will be in the Leesburg Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
