Billi Campell Andrews, 87, of Satsuma, Florida and formerly of Warsaw, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015, in nearby Palatka, Florida.
Billi was born to William and Irma (Marbury) Campbell on September 18, 1928 in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. She graduated from high school in Memphis, Tennessee in 1948 before moving to Warsaw, Indiana in 1951.
It was in Warsaw that Billi would meet the late David Andrews, Sr. The two were married in 1956 and together they would raise two children, Judy and David, Jr.
From 1960-1967, Billi ran her own beauty salon and in the eight years afterward, she served as the matron of the Kosciusko County jail, (now the Old Jail Museum). From 1982 until her retirement, she worked as a property manager in Cape Canaveral and Miami Beach, Florida.
Billi was married to Robert Wishman in 1991 in Miami Beach, Florida. He preceded her in death.
Billi loved to attend church, garden, study genealogy and golf. She also loved listening to music and learning new things. Above all, Billi loved spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include a daughter: Judy Truex of Warsaw, Indiana; son and daughter-in-law: David and Elaine Andrews, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana; two granddaughters: Heather Truex and Tracy (husband Jason) Nichols both of Warsaw; four great-grandchildren: Brandon Pequignot of Noblesville, Indiana, Katrielle Wood, Ian Nichols, and Ella Nichols, all of Warsaw; great-great-granddaughter: Zuri Pequignot at home; sister: Emily Lengyel of Satsuma; niece: Donna Jean Clarke of Satsuma and three nephews: John Lickteig of Georgia, Jim Lickteig and Ted Bowen both of Florida.
In addition to her husband, Robert, and parents, those preceding Billi in death are brother, Charles Campbell, and sister, Donna Lee Lickteig.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Billi Andrews will take place at 2 PM Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street Warsaw, Indiana.
