Birda Rhudell “Rhudy” Yeager, 87, of Goshen, IN (formerly of Syracuse, IN) passed away at 4:37 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Greencroft Healthcare in Goshen. She was born on March 4, 1929 in Chenoa, IL to Emler L. & Golden Gertrude (Kiper) Dennison.
She was a lifetime Kosciusko / Elkhart County area resident and graduated in 1948 from Syracuse High School. She was married on June 12, 1948 in Syracuse, IN to Paul Alden Yeager who preceded her on February 15, 2009. She was a homemaker and attended the Church of God in Syracuse.
She is survived by:
Daughter – Suzanne (James) Pachynski of Syracuse
Son – Tim Yeager of Syracuse
7 Grand & 7 Gt. Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter – Sandra Horton, grandson – Edward Paul Pachynski, and 2 Sisters – Mary Virginia Wise & Fern Genevieve Armey.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Greencroft Meetinghouse, 1225 Greencroft Dr., Goshen, IN and from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Burial will be in the Syracuse Cemetery.
