Bruce Dean Swope

Bruce Dean Swope, 56, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 6:21 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, IN. He was born on January 27, 1962 in Sunbury, PA to Buryl D. “Dean” & Cleda Ann (Lawhorn) Swope.

He grew up in the South Bend area and graduated in 1980 from Clay High School in South Bend, IN. He formerly worked for Indiana Department of Transportation for 18 ½ years and moved to Warsaw 1 year ago from North Liberty.

He was an avid fisherman & former hockey player.

He is survived by:

2 Daughters – Beatrice Cooper of Columbus, OH & Sophie Swope of Niles, NI

Parents – Dean & Cleda Swope of Warsaw

Sister – Christy (Jennifer) Swope of Warsaw

Brother – Steven (Kathryn) Swope of Warsaw

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Cremation will follow and private family burial will take place at a later date.
