Carl T. "Timmy" McCoy, 39, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 1:40 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born on September 4, 1970 in Crestline, OH to Carl Junior & Joyce Ann (Fletcher) McCoy.
He attended Willard High School and moved to the Ligonier / Syracuse area in 1986 from Ohio. He formerly was employed at Bison Manufacturing in Milford, Turtle Top in New Paris, Coachman Industries in Middlebury, and Handyman Home Improvement Services in Syracuse.
He is survived by:
4 Daughters – Kortney McCoy of Syracuse; Kaley McCoy of Goshen; Karrisa McCoy of Nappanee; & Aliyah McCoy of Syracuse
2 Sons- Kyle McCoy of Nappanee & Jeremy McCoy of Syracuse
1 Grandson – Brody
Mother – Joyce Slone of Syracuse
Father – Carl Junior McCoy of Syracuse
Sister – Tammy Terry of Millersburg
Lifetime Companion - Schenna Polachek
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Joseph Brickey of the Apostolic Faith Church in Ligonier officiating. Burial will follow in the Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell.
Memorial bequest may be given to the Carl T. McCoy Funeral Fund, c/o Owen Family Funeral Home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
