Carman Danner

Carman S. Danner, 68, of Leesburg, IN died at 8:55 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2009 at her home. She was born on December 8, 1940 in Warsaw, IN to Bill E. & Evelyn Rose (Salmon) Brower.

She was a lifetime North Webster / Leesburg area resident and attended North Webster High School. She was married on September 7, 1957 in Pierceton, IN to Dale A. Danner who preceded her on February 26, 2008.

She retired in 2005 from Kosciusko County Courthouse in the surveyor's office. She was a member of Warsaw Community Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post 253 in North Webster, Red Hat Ladies Society in Syracuse, & the former Pythian Sister's Card Group in North Webster.

She is survived by:
2 Daughters - Mrs. Scott (Karen) Brandel of Leesburg & Mrs. Bernie (Kimberly) Wilson of Warsaw;
1 Son - Phillip (wife, Robin) Danner of Cromwell;
6 Grandchildren, 6 Step Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 15 Step Great Grandchildren, & 5 Step Great Great Grandchildren;
2 Brothers - Chris Brower of Topeka & Kent (wife, Sandy) Brower of Mansfield, OH.

She was preceded by her parents, husband, and sister - Vicki Hodge.

Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2009 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher of the New Beginnings Community Church in Atwood officiating. Burial will follow in the North Webster Cemetery (Mock Addition).

Memorial bequest may be given to Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice, 902 Provident Dr., Warsaw, IN 46580. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
