Carolyn Dolby

Carolyn J. Dolby, age 89, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Friday, Oct. 28th, 2022. She was surrounded by her family in her home.

 

Born on September 17,1933, in Huntington, Indiana, she was the daughter of Robert and Esta Hite. She was a 1951 graduate of Clearcreek High School. After graduating from high school, she married her sweetheart Richard D. Dolby. They raised 4 children.

 

Carolyn was married to Richard 57 years before his passing in March, 2009. Both Carolyn and Richard loved the Lord, working in the ministry for many years.

 

Carolyn loved music. She was an active member of Trinity UM Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Martha Circle. She was a member of the Kosciusko County Chorus. She loved traveling. One of her favorite places was Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She loved spending time with her family.

 

Those who survive with her memories to cherish include her children, Carol (Glenn) Nusz, Cheryl (Bob) Roth, and Steven (Sue) Dolby; daughter in law, Laura Dolby; grandchildren, Doug (Jaime) Heidenreich, Stephanie (Chris) Lucas, Melissa (Brian) Katschke, Nathan(Ashley) Gates, Nolan (Sarah) Gates, Liz (Nick) Pantella, Adrianne (Justin) Farris, Isaac (Jasmine) Dolby, Josalyn (Adam) Fedorow, Marc (Kristen) Roth, Ryan Roth, Michelle (Greg) Plunkett, and Janell (Rob) Rohena; 32 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She is further survived by many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in passing by her parents, her husband, Richard; son, Galen Dolby, and sisters, Nancy Otte, and Martha Keller.

 

Titus Funeral Home is entrusted with the care of Carolyn. Friends may join the family there, 2000 Sheridan
Street Warsaw, IN 46580, on Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 3:00pm until 7:30pm. The funeral service will
be held on Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 832 Center Street Warsaw, IN 46580 at 11:00am with
doors opening at 10:00am. Burial will take place at Pleasant Chapel Cemetery in Huntington.
