Carolyn Richards

Carolyn A. Richards, of Warsaw, passed away quietly at just after 1:00 pm at Mason Health and Rehab on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the age of 70.

Born on September 26, 1951, in Mishawaka, Carolyn was the daughter of Woodbridge and Lorraine Dennis. She was united in marriage with her husband Mark Richards on July 5, 1985. They celebrated 35 years together before his passing in 2020. Carolyn worked in various nursing homes as a Registered Nurse for many years.
Carolyn was a selfless person, helping anyone who needed it. Her biggest passion was animals. She had a soft spot for any animal and enjoyed viewing the animals at the animal shelter online, imagining herself owning them. She also loved going to the zoo. In her spare time, she loved to bake and cook.

Carolyn will be dearly missed by her children, Shelley Hand, Tami Thurby, Charles Vanvorst, and Cameron (Katie) Richards; grandchildren, Jessica Cravens, Brandon Thurby, and Rachel Thurby; parents, Woodbridge and Lorraine Dennis; and siblings, Lorretta Dennis, Rebecca (Gary) Edwards, and Michael (Susie) Edwards. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mark Richards.

Friends and family may gather for the visitation for Carolyn at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street Warsaw, IN 46580 on Sunday, November 14, 2021, from 3:00 pm until the Life Celebration® at 6:00 pm.
