Casey A.J. “KC” Ochs, 15, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2013.  He was born on April 11, 1997 in Sierra Vista, AZ to Christopher J. & Dominique (Blancett) Ochs.

He moved to the area several years ago from Muncie and was a sophomore at Wawasee High School in Syracuse, IN. He was a member of the Epic Student Ministries Youth Group at the North Webster Church of God.

Kc Ochs wasn't just a 15 year old sophomore at Wawasee High School. His life consisted of friends; these were the people that made his life interesting. He was always having as many friends over as possible. They went out on the water together, played video games together, and took advantage of all the opportunities that life provided for them to do.

Kc loved music. He had a big stereo in his room that was always blasting music all throughout the night. He loved rap and hip-hop music, and he would spend hours each day just to find a cool new song to show to his brother.

By far Kc's favorite three things to do would be floating around on the boat, snowboarding, and riding four-wheelers with friends. He would constantly want to go to Bittersweet, which was his favorite place to snowboard. He liked activities that included tubing, wakeboarding, and wake surfing. He love to roam everywhere he could on his four-wheeler, doing wheelies and tricks. He was excellent at all of these, and never ceased to amaze everyone.

Overall, Kc was an extremely talented individual who did very well at everything he did. He was always thriving to be the best that he could be, no matter what it was that he was up to. Kc holds a special place in all of our hearts, and it is awful to see him leave us so soon.

He is survived by:
Father – Chris Ochs of Warsaw
Mother & Step Father – Dominique & Caleb Gilmer of Warsaw
Brother – McKinley “Bear” Ochs of Warsaw
Step Brother – Bryce Gilmer of Syracuse
Maternal Grandmother – Janeen Smith of CA
