Cedric J. Davis passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 4:46 PM in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, Indiana at the age of 47.
He was born June 19, 1968 in Shreveport, Louisiana to W.C. and Betty (Durrant) Norris. He was a 1986 graduate of Green Oaks High School, Shreveport. On June 12, 1993 in Warsaw, Indiana, he and Nicole Davis were married. She survives in Warsaw.
Cedric worked in the core room at Dalton Foundries, Inc. for 19 years.
In addition to his wife, Nicole, Cedric is survived by his mother: Betty Davis and his sister and brother-in-law: Mira and Gregory Walton – all of Shreveport. Also surviving is his mother-in-law: Beverly Davis; several aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; and cousins.
Cedric’s father: W.C. Norris and brother: Clifford Durrant preceded him in passing.
Family and friends will come together to share memories of Cedric Saturday, November 21st from 10 AM until 12 Noon. Then beginning at 12 Noon a service celebrating his life will begin with Pastor Ron Patrick of New Beginning Church and World Outreach, Warsaw, officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Gifts in Cedric’s memory may be given to a charity of choice or simple acts of kindness may be done for others in his memory.
