Charles F. “Charlie” Adams, 88, of Leesburg, IN passed away at 3:40 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Grace Village Health Care in Winona Lake. He was born on June 16, 1926 in Akron, IN to Waldo L. & Mabel (Dickey) Adams.
He was a lifetime Kosciusko County area resident, graduated from Beaver Dam High School and attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. He was married on November 25, 1948 in Milford, IN to Evelyn R. Tom who survives. Charles and Evelyn, his wife of 67 years, shared a very special love for each other, their 3 daughters and family. He retired from the Zimmer Corporation as a Master Maintenance Journeyman after several years of service. He formerly worked for Yeiter & Ganshorn John Deere in Warsaw where he was known as the “Combine Man”. He previously farmed for many years.
He was a member of the North Webster Church of God, Masonic Lodge in Leesburg and National Association of Amateur Radio Operators. He was formerly involved with the Boy Scouts, 4H Club, R.O.T.C. and was formerly president of the Franklin Township Farm Bureau.

2 Daughters – Linda (Mike) Tucker of Leesburg & Nancy (Allen) Floring-Robinson of Warsaw
3 Grand & 1 Gt. Granddaughter
He was preceded in death by his parents & daughter – Diana Walker.
Private family funeral services will be held at the Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating. Burial will take place in the Leesburg Cemetery.
