Charles F. "Chick" Lemberg

Charles F. “Chick” Lemberg, 64, of Cromwell, IN passed away at 5:40 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born on April 8, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Harry J. & Janet M. (Hutchinson) Lemberg Jr.
He grew up in Palos Park, IL and graduated in 1965 from Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park, IL. He attended American Institute of Baking in Chicago and was a United States Army Veteran. He was married on June 19, 1971 in Marshfield, WI to Cynthia L. “Cindy” Hartnett who survives. He moved to Syracuse in 1972 from Marshfield, WI and was a chef for the Beacon Restaurant in Syracuse for 30 years. He attended the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel in Syracuse.
He is survived by:
Wife – Cindy Lemberg of Cromwell
Daughter – Mrs. Andy (Michelle) Temple of Fort Wayne
Son – Timothy (wife, Elaine) Lemberg of Syracuse
3 Grandchildren - Ashley, Austin, & Amber
5 Brothers – Richard “Rick” (wife, Cathy) Lemberg of Syracuse; Harry (wife, Patty) Lemberg III of Columbus, OH; James (wife, Georgia) Lemberg of Fort Wayne; Brian (wife, Laurie) Lemberg of Fort Wayne; & Dennis Lemberg of North Webster.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother – Brad Lemberg & nephew – Drew Charles Lemberg.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2010 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Harlan Steffen of the church officiating.
