Charles Robert "Bob" Dye

Charles Robert "Bob" Dye, 70 of Naples, FL (formerly of Leesburg, IN) passed away at 4:56 p.m. on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Goshen Hospital. He was born on September 16, 1948 in Warsaw, IN to Charles L “Chuck” & Dorothy I. (Watkins) Dye.

He graduated in 1966 from Leesburg High School, International Business College in Fort Wayne and was a United States Army veteran. He lived in Leesburg until he moved to Florida 30 years ago and was married to Cheryl (Huffman) Landis who survives. He was an insurance agent & real estate broker for many years. He formerly was employed at C. Dye Insurance Agency in Leesburg & at a sign company in Florida.

Formerly attended the North Webster Church of God.

He is survived by:

Wife – Cheryl Dye of Naples, FL

2 Sons – Chris & Mike Landis both of Naples, FL

2 Grandchildren

Mother – Dorothy Dye of Leesburg

2 Sisters – Susan (Rick) Stookey of Leesburg & Nancy Miner & Randy Sindelar of Warsaw

Brother – John (Linda) Dye of Nappanee

Foster Brother - Danny Tat of Leesburg

He was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. memorial services will follow at 4:30 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating.
