Charlotte V. Richards, 94, of North Webster, IN passed away at 3:10 p.m. on Saturday, January 1, 2011 in Mason’s Healthcare in Warsaw. She was born on February 20, 1916 in Chicago, IL to Charles F. & Arminta (Johnson) Peters.
She attended Aurora, IL public schools and she was married on February 19, 1936 in Aurora to Donald G. Richards who preceded her in 1991. She moved to Kosciusko County in 1948 from Aurora and to North Webster in 1952. She was a homemaker and babysitter for many years. She was a member of the North Webster Church of God.
She is survived by:
Daughter – Karleen Richards of North Webster
2 Sons – Charles D. (wife, Yasue) Richards of Fountain, CO & David Richards Sr. of North Webster
5 Grand, 8 Gt. Grand, & 4 Gt. Gt. Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gt. grandson – Daniel Williams, step Gt. grandson – Larry Manns & daughter-in-law – Molly Richards.
Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & C.R. 500N, North Webster, IN.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Judy of the church officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at North Webster Cemetery (Mock Addition).
