Cheryl Knox

Cheryl Lee Knox, 57, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital ER. She was born in Albion, Michigan on January 22, 1968 to Norman Lee Pieske and Gloria Jean (English) Pieske. 

Cheryl graduated from Albion High School and attended college. She married Mark Kenneth Knox on April 15, 2016 in Virginia. They moved to Hartford City in July of 2016. She enjoyed her job as the Manager for Justice Property (Valley View) and was well loved for her dedication to helping her tenants.

Cheryl had a huge smile that would light up the room and she loved to talk to people. She never met a stranger and she had a heart of gold. She liked to play the slot machines at the casino and loved to go fishing and spending time playing pool with Mark. She also was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her cats and dogs. Her favorite people to spend time with was her family, she loved them all with all very much and her time making memories with them was special to her. 

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Mark K. Knox of Hartford City; son, Dayton A. Vitalone (girlfriend, Rena) of Maine; daughter, Cheyenne N. Meyer (boyfriend, Landen Hess) of Hartford City; sisters, Kim (husband, Arne) Brennaman of Pierceton, IN and April (husband, Tony) Minshall of Michigan; mother-in-law, Marilyn Knox of Montpelier. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister, Penny Pieske.

A Life Celebration® Visitation will be held on February 22, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Titus Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN 46567.  It will be followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:30 PM. Memorials may be made to Donor’s Choice.
