Chester H. “Chet” Bond, 85, of North Webster, IN passed away at 8:20 p.m. on Monday August 12, 2013 in his residence. He was born on February 16, 1928 in Leicester, MA to Chester A. & May H. (Cummings) Bond.
He attended Webster Public Schools in Webster, MA and moved to Kosciusko County in 1964 from Massachusetts. On September 23, 1977 in Coldwater, MI he married Charolette J. (Lambert) Sieglinger who survives. He was owner / operator of Bond Excavating in North Webster since 1974. He was formerly employed as a truck driver transporting mobile homes in the 1960’s & 70’s, and worked for the State of Indiana DNR for 10 years as a heavy equipment operator. He was raised in the Lutheran Church.

3 Sons – Dennis Bond of Gilford, NH, Kenny & Wayne Bond
3 Step Daughters – Lonie Bloom of North Webster, Pam & Denise
Several Grand & Gt. Grandchildren
He was preceded by his parents, daughter – Jodi Bond, 2 sisters – Brenda Gajewski & Peggy Carpenter, & brother – Wylie Bond
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the North Webster United Methodist Church, 7822 E. Epworth Forest Rd., North Webster, IN. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday in the church with Rev. Gary Kolbe officiating.
