Christina Marie "Chris" Deaton

Christina Marie "Chris" Deaton, 56, of Pierceton, IN (formerly of Omaha, NE) passed away at 2:50 p.m. on January 25, 2018 at her residence. She was born on December 24, 1961 in San Fernando, CA to Stephen & Gloria (Maglieri) Pehanich.

She graduated in 1980 from Canoga Park High School in Canoga Park, CA and moved to Pierceton, IN in August 2017 from Omaha, NE. She was married on October 21, 2018 in Pierceton to Clay Deaton Jr. who survives. She formerly worked as a nurse for Father Flanagan’s Boys Home in Boys Town, NE for many years.

She is survived by:

Husband – Clay Deaton Jr. of Pierceton

Son – Daniel (Renee) Paulin of Omaha, NE

Daughter – Stephanie Paulin of Omaha, NE

Grandson – Landon Paulin of Omaha, NE

Mother – Gloria Pehanich of Denver, CO

Sister – Angela Hauser of Denver, CO

2 Brothers – Gary (Kathy) Pehanich of Denver, CO & Stephen (Loretta) Pehanich of Sacramento, CA

She was preceded in death by her father.

No public services will be held at this time. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements.
