Christine A. Edwards

Christine A. "Chris" Edwards, 47, of South Bend, IN (formerly of North Webster) passed away at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, IN. She was born on May 30, 1966 in Anderson, IN to David C. "Dave" & Barbara E. "Barb" (Arford) Edwards.

She graduated in 1984 from Anderson High School and in 1989 from Purdue in West Lafayette. She grew up in Anderson and formerly lived in North Webster, Indianapolis, & Tennessee before moving to Mishawaka 10 years ago from Lafayette. She was employed as a manager at Steak ‘n Shake in Mishawaka for the past 4 years and formerly worked at Olive Garden in Indianapolis, St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, Applebee's in Mishawaka, and Tippecanoe Country Club in Leesburg.

She was a member of the Indiana Farm Bureau and a Disney memorabilia fan.

She is survived by:

2 Sisters – Mary Ellen (Greg) Wilson of Pendleton & Joyce Elaine (Steve) Staub of Fishers
Niece – Sarah (Nick) Cox
3 Nephews – Josh Wilson, Steven Staub & Alec Staub

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating. Burial will follow in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
