Christopher Michael Evett, of North Webster, passed away peacefully at home after a short battle with cancer on Sunday October 23, 2022, at the age of 50.
Chris was born in California on January 13, 1972, the son of James and Alice Evett. He was raised in Arkansas along with his brothers and sisters Jim, David, Jeff, Suzan, and Becky.
A dedicated NASCAR fan, Chris enjoyed watching the race every Sunday. He loved Kyle Busch but only after Mark Martin retired. He also enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions. Most of all, Chris loved his family, especially his children.
Those who survive with his memories to cherish include his daughters, Philena and Sydnee Evett; son, Frank Shell; father, James Evett; brothers, David and Jeff Evett; sisters, Suzan Evett and Becky (Terry) Ruiz; nieces, Kayla Evett, Alison (Ryan) Beal, Jayme Evett, Sam (Casey) Evett and Amber Ruiz; and nephews, Jonathan Andrews, Alex Evett, Max Evett, Zack Evett, Logan Evett, and Hunter Evett. He is further survived by many great nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. He is preceded in passing by his mother, Alice and brother, Jim Evett.
