Cindy Sue Kauffman, 54, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 7:24 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2011 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on January 3, 1957 in Goshen, IN to James E. & Carol A. (Weldy) Todd.
She was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and attended Wawasee Community Schools. She was married on May 12, 2000 in Goshen, IN to Donald E. Kauffman who survives. She was formerly employed at McDonalds in Syracuse and was a member at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Syracuse.
She is survived by:
Husband – Donald E. Kauffman
Daughter – Tasha Thompson of Cromwell
Son – David (wife, Jacqulin) Gibbs of Syracuse
4 Grandchildren
Mother – Carol Elder of Syracuse
3 Sisters – Mrs. Scott (Vaunda) Huffer of Milford; Mrs. Michael (Vicki) Whisman of Goshen, and Sherri Elder of Syracuse
1 Brother – Christopher Elder of Syracuse
She was preceded in death by her father & 1 Son – Adam Jonathon
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Calvary United Methodist Church with Rev. David Herr officiating.
Memorial bequest may be given to the Cindy Kauffman Funeral Fund, c/o Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Envelopes will be available at the church.
