Cindy Lou Rogers-Ruggles, 62, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 12:25 PM in Fort Wayne, Indiana while receiving care at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Although she spent much of her lifetime in Warsaw, Indiana, Cindy Lou was born in Goshen, Indiana on June 10, 1953 to Tom Hann and Louise Balsley. She attended school in North Webster and later at Wawasee High School.
Cindy Lou enjoyed coloring and sewing. She also enjoyed hunting for a bargain at garage sales and at Goodwill. But most of all, Cindy Lou was a selfless and loving mother who was known for her feisty personality and her ability to “tell it like it is.”
She will be deeply missed by her family including her four children, daughter: Marcella K. Guise (husband Rick See) of Mentone; sons: Tim Ruggles of Warsaw; and Seth Ruggles of Plymouth, Indiana; daughter: Virginia Ruggles-Sleighter (husband Michael Sleighter) of Bourbon, Indiana; three stepchildren: Barbara (husband Jerry) Fear of Rochester, Indiana; James Ruggles of Arizona; Stella Ruggles of Silver Lake; 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents having preceded her in death, her brother Rocky Lane Hann passed unexpectedly in 2015.
There will be no formal services held at this time in accordance with Cindy Lou's wishes. Those wishing to give memorial gifts may direct them to the family.
