Claude V. Myers Jr.

Claude V. “Butch” Myers Jr., 65, of Pierceton, IN passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at his home. He was born on October 6, 1952 in Dover, DE to Claude V. & Tonya Geniva (Warne) Myers Sr.

He was a lifetime Pierceton area resident, graduated in 1972 from Whitko High School in South Whitley, and was a United States Army veteran. He was married November 17, 1984 in Columbia City, IN to Deborah Sue “Deb” Wilson who preceded him on September 2, 2017. He formerly worked for Byron Miller as an electrician, Gooding RV, Marble Creations, and Starcraft in Goshen.

He is survived by:

2 Daughters – Heather Myers of Pierceton & Christina Jean Myers of Larwill

Son – Chad Michael Myers of Pierceton

10 Grandchildren

2 Sisters – Mollie (Russell) Starkey of Wolf Lake, IN & Tonya “Tony” (Terry) Staker of Fort Wayne

Brother – John Myers of Columbia City

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in the funeral home with Pastor Bret Frymier of the Asbury United Methodist Church officiating. Burial & military graveside rites will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (Snodgrass) Cemetery near Larwill.
