Clifford G. Grubb, age 64 of Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly as the result of a motor vehicle collision.
"Cliff," as most knew him, was born in Fort Wayne on September 17, 1958 He spent his formative years there before enlisting in the US Army. Later, he made his home in Warsaw to be nearer to family.
Cliff was a proud patriot and a motorcycle enthusiast. He was a member of ABATE and rarely missed Hawg Waller. He liked playing cards with friends and family and became a regular at Rex's Rendezvous (mostly because they were one of the few places open when his shift ended); the staff there became second-family to Cliff. In the early years, Cliff worked at Maple Leaf Farms but he would be most remembered for his longtime dedication to WalMart where he was a jack-of-all-trades on night-shift.
Those who survive include two siblings, Jimmy Grubb and Marie Grubb and a special cousin, Tammy Cooper. He is also survived by several other cousins and an extended family. He was preceded in passing by a brother, Ben Woods and mother, Dorothy Woods.
Friends may join the family for visitation at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral will follow, officiated by Pastor Terry Bradford. Graveside services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, the following Friday, September 15, at 1p.m.
In lieu of flowers gifts may be directed to the local ABATE chapter with envelopes available at the Funeral Home.
