Clyde Ray Leedy, 76, of Pierceton, IN passed away at 10:35 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Hospice House of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, FL. He was born on May 16, 1937 in Fort Wayne, IN to William R. & Hulda S. (Volmerding) Leedy.

He graduated in 1955 from North Side High School in Fort Wayne & 1959 from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. On December 20, 1958 in Peru, IN he married Joyce Ann McMinn who survives. He retired after 36 years as a registered pharmacist & past president of Keltsch Pharmacy in Fort Wayne. He grew up in the Fort Wayne area, was a summer lake resident near Pierceton until moving there permanently in 1985 and was a winter resident of Avon Park, FL.

He was a member of the North Webster Church of God, Masonic Lodge # 377 in Pierceton, Kosciusko County Shrine Club & Mizpah Shriners in Fort Wayne. Former member of the Sol D. Bayless Masonic Lodge # 359 in Fort Wayne and attended the United Methodist Church in Avon Park, FL.

He is survived by:
Wife – Joyce Leedy of Pierceton
2 Daughters – Catherine Ann (Edward) Williams of Auburn, IN & Julie Marie (Daniel) Markiewicz of Orlando, FL
2 Sons – William Preston (Katherine Ward) Leedy of Fort Wayne & Michael David (Candince) Leedy of Pierceton
6 Grandchildren - Christina Williams, Jacob Williams, Sarah Williams, Zachary Leedy, Emily Markiewicz, & Alyson Markiewicz
Sister – Joan Gudas of Leesburg

He was preceded by his parents.

Visitation will be from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & C.R. 500N, North Webster. Masonic services will follow at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2014 in the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday in the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 6600 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne, IN.

Memorial bequest may be given to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2211 W. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60707. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
