She was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and graduated in 1972 from Wawasee High School. She was employed at Crossroads Bank in Syracuse for 8 years and formerly employed at Goshen Auto Electric, State Bank of Syracuse and was a waitress.
She formerly attended Calvary United Methodist Church in Syracuse and was a former member of the American Legion Post 223 Auxiliary in Syracuse.
She is survived by:
Son – Ryan (Nicole) Schwalm of Syracuse
Step Grandson – Austin Bickel
Mother – Peggy Felts of Syracuse
Sister – Nancy Feaster of Syracuse
Brother – Barry Coy of Michigan
Several nieces, nephews, & cousins
She was preceded in death by her father – Harry Coy & step father - Nelson Felts.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Memorial services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home on Wednesday. Private burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.
