Colleen L. Murphy

Colleen Lynn Murphy, 51, of Pierceton, IN passed away at 10:35 a.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on August 25, 1966 in Muncie, IN to Charles and Rebecca (Vance) Murphy Jr.

She grew up in Muncie, attended Southside High School in Muncie, and moved to Kosciusko County in 1986. She was a lifetime homemaker and was married on July 3, 2010 in Oswego, IN to Charles E. “Charlie” Shepherd who survives.

She was a former member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Muncie.

She is survived by:

Husband – Charlie Shepherd of Pierceton

Mother - Rebecca Wilson of Leesburg

Brother – Charles Patrick Murphy of Leesburg

6 Sisters – Tamara (Paul) Hadley of North Webster, IN, Barbara (Roger) King of Parker City, IN, Linda (Clint) Bryan of Muncie, Krista (Paul) Grove of Albany, IN, Kelly (Scott) Covey of Fort Wayne, IN, & Kathy Garringer of Yorktown, IN

She was preceded in death by her father, brother – Michael Murphy, stepfather – Phil Wilson, & nephew – Kyle King.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & C.R. 500N, North Webster, IN 46555 with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, 3489 E. 100S, Pierceton, IN 46562.
