Cozetta C. Johnson, age 52, was called Home on March 4th at 10:18 a.m. from Warsaw’s Kosciusko Community Hospital.
She was born on October 19, 1965 in Wichita Falls, Texas and was the daughter of Don Robinson and Cheryl D. Johnson. She had been a longtime member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Wichita Falls before moving to Etna Green, Indiana.
Cozetta was a Cardinal Center worker and a resident of ResCare in Etna Green. She was fun loving and always smiling. A very social person, Cozetta loved people and enjoyed attending Bourbon Bible Church. She also enjoyed shopping and listening to music.
Those who survive include her brother, Ramon (Stacy) Johnson of Elkhart; two sisters, Catrice Johnson-Black of Waxahachie, Tx and Gloria Mitchell of California and by two cousins who were like siblings, Angela Mack and Harold Williams, both of Dallas, Tx. Cozetta is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and an uncle, Michael (Faye) Johnson of Grand Prairie, Tx. She was preceded in passing by her parents; grandparents, Opal and Vernon Johnson, Sr; uncle, Vernon (Gloria) Johnson, Jr. and aunt, Raversa (Clem) Mitchell.
Friends and family will come together to share memories during visitation on Friday, March 16th from Noon to 1 p.m. at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. A celebration of her life will commence at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home with burial following in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery.
