Daniel David McKibbin

Daniel McKibbin, age 60 of Millersburg, passed away quietly in his home on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. 

 

He was born in South Bend on August 26, 1962 to Michael McKibbin and Patricia (Ruch) McKibbin. He spent his formative years in Lagrange, IN and was  a 1980 graduate of Lakeland High School. Professionally he work in air conditioning assembly at Mobile Climate Control where he made units for Humvees  and Hummers. 

 

More personally, he was a music lover; he played guitar himself and loved all types of music but especially country and Classic Rock. He also enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing and hunting. He liked being outdoors and was a proud patriot. More than anything he was a caring person at heart who loved his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends. 

 

 Those who survive include four children: Mindy (Jeremy) McKibbin of New Paris, Braden Wilmoth, Brandi (Josh) Kendall, Skylar (Alicia) Wilmoth - all of Anderson; three siblings: Laurie Edwards of Millersburg, John McKibbin of Elkhart and Michelle McKibbin of Ligonier, several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

 

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Syracuse is entrusted with arrangements. Burial will take place with a short graveside service on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 1p.m. in Eldridge Cemetery, 59989 E County Line Rd, Middlebury. On Saturday, June 17 the family will hold a celebration of life at Dan's home, 215 E Washington Street, Millersburg; friends and family are welcome beginning at Noon.
